I am a qualified, BACP Registered and experienced therapist offering counselling in Derbyshire area.

I decided to become a counsellor as I have a passion for listening and feel there is no greater reward than helping others to turn their lives around and being able to live life to the full. With an Irish background I consider myself to be open and friendly, approachable and easy to talk to and have built many professional counselling relationships, helping people of all ages, work through issues they are facing in their lives.

I offer Person Centred Counselling integrated with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy on a one to one basis and offer Mindfulness Therapy alongside this. I work within a professional premise from home with secure parking, providing a very discreet layout in a peaceful, private, comfortable safe space.

There are times in most of our lives when we experience distressing and tragic events, which result in feelings of helplessness with no end solution in sight. It is times like this we need support, to be able to share these feelings and not feel judged. Counselling is a process which can provide this, in a confidential and safe setting, to gain more insight into yourself, your situation and allow you to find the best path forward.
